Our workshop will be held at the Indian Canyon, the only federally recognized “Indian Country” along coastal Northern California from Santa Barbara to Sonoma.
Space is limited and priority will be given to those who register with their commitment to ensure participation.
Remember that you will receive all the instructions as soon as we have confirmed your attendance. We usually send confirmed guests more details a week and a half before the event. This workshop is very special and requires you to take some time to prepare physically, mentally and spiritually.

Sweat Lodge “Temazcal”:
Bring a large towel to dry or cover yourself, facial towel, and a change of clothes. Women may enter the the sweat lodge with a long dress that is not transparent (any color). no pants, shorts, or swimsuits.
Men can wear shorts. You should bring plenty of drinking water for yourself.
For those who wish to camp, remember to arrive early before sunset on Friday so you can see for your setup of tents. Remember to bring flashlights as well.

How to Prepare:
Remember you will be part of a sacred and profound experience, therefore, do not make reservations if you are not willing to follow the rules and be on time
A week before and a week later.
NO: pork, red meat, alcohol or drugs (including marijuana)
Three days before and after
- Get away from violent influences (including movies, discussions etc).
- Avoid foods with seasonings (salt, sugar, fats and spicy)
- Fermented Foods
- Cheese and dairy
- Refrain from sex
Day of Ceremony:
Drink plenty of water and tea or matte, no sugar or artificial drinks
Preferably fast but if you choose to eat something choose something light, like fruit for breakfast, and rest well.
What to bring:
- A purpose or intention (i.e. healing of self, others, counseling, guidance, clarity, balance, etc.).
- Sandals or tennis/running shoes, comfortable camping clothes.
- Blanket(s) because body the temperature is usually lower with relaxation,
- A yoga mat, beach chair, and or something comfortable for you to lay and sit on.
- Change of underwear.
- Notepad and pen.
- Comfortable clothes
- Women, we recommend wear a dress or skirt that is long. Tops that cover the shoulders ( although any color is acceptable, preferably white or light colors for this event). During the ceremony with the medicine you may use comfortable/ track pants
- Musical instrument (optional).
